Residential house in Luneburg I | Transformation of a ruinous barn from 1787 into two recreational apartments.  The timber frame building was cautiously rebuilt in compliance with the historical preservation standard. The outer character of the barn was preserved and augmented through the outdoor enclosures. The interior architecture combines historical elements with modern living spaces. Ecological insulation and solid wood ceilings emphasize the homelike atmosphere.
